Spatial Domain Service
Spatial Domain Service (SDS) is a patent-pending service and system which we currently have in development. At its core, the service is a registry for virtual spatial domains which correspond to real space around the surface of a globe (Usually, this would be the Earth).
This service allows entities (such as companies or individuals) to register a spatial domain and declare a server host that provides content for that domain.
Clients can then query the system with a GeoURI (see RFC 5870) and get a list of hosts which provide content for that location. From there, the client can contact the hosts, load the content, and display it to the user.
This system is being developed from the ground up with the idea of supporting Augmented Reality devices (glasses, headsets, etc) so that as users move (aka “Wander”) around the real world, their devices have a unified source to query to know where to get content for their current location.

Spatial Browsing
It’s often said that for a device to be successful, it needs a “killer app”. But what is a killer app? Can you name one? There is indeed a killer app for PCs, Mobile Phones, and other devices. It’s the one class of app used by everyone, all over the world, to do just about everything. Wars have been fought over them. They are… Browsers!
However, simply dropping a web browser into Augmented Reality isn’t remotely adequate. AR is spatially-oriented, fundamentally 3-dimensional, and invites the user to interact with the virtual and the physical at the same time.
We want to bring Spatial Browsing to everyone. Ideally, we want to bring this technology to:
• Helio – Magic Leap’s Spatial Browser
• Chrome – AR support is currently in Beta
• Firefox – AR support
Additionally, we want to develop a Spatial Browser for more platforms
• Android – A lot of new AR glasses and Headsets are being developed to run versions of Android
• iOS – Rumor has it that Apple will soon have AR and VR support, sometime in the next few years.

Spatial Cartographer is a tool for mobile devices (Android and iOS) for registering and maintaining a Spatial Domain. Tag and define a 3-dimensional volume for Augmented Reality content, so people with Augmented Reality devices can get that content when they are in that location.
